“Most of our individuals and our staff have been actually skeptical about performing a reality Tv display since they have been watching Jersey Shore and The Kardashians,” says Andrew DeAngelo, general manager of Oakland, California’s Harborside Well being Center, the largest medical marijuana dispensary in the planet. Andrew and his brother, Harborside’s Executive Director Steve DeAngleo, are co-stars of Weed Wars, a new display by the Discovery Channel that looks into lives of these who run Harborside, the individuals that seek out their solutions, and the politicians hunting to shut them down. “There are a lot of stigmas about medical cannabis individuals, that we do not operate difficult, that we’re a bunch of stoners, that we are lazy, that we are truly criminals or drug traffickers,” explains Andrew DeAngleo. “All that is a lie that has been perpetrated by the feds and the media.” By opening up their operate and lives to cameras, the DeAngelo brothers hope to present a side of the medical marijuana debate that is rarely seen on American television. “This is our probability – and our sufferers and our staff’s chance – to shine.” Reason.television sat down with the DeAngleo brothers to discuss the display, the multi-agency crackdown on medical marijuana dispensaries and how the Obama Administration’s recent reversal of policy is generating an opening for Republicans this election cycle. Why is Weed Wars anywhere on YouTube? You know the brothers don’t agree with recreational use. They are against legalizing for the publics general use. I think its wrong and hypocritical of these guys. Read: Say it isn’t so Steve Deangelo to get up to speed or watch what they said on that jerk OReily who got them in a corner. frist off pot is NOT A DRUG!!!!! it is a fucking plant and its not a gateway to drugs ive been smokeing since i was 12 i am now 25 and i have NEVER done any drugs because of smokeing pot…..i am proud to say i am a STONER and will be till the day i die. i fully support these guys i belive in wat they are doing…they truely are helping ppl! i hope someday that the rest of the world will come to thier sences and SMOKE IT UP!!!

Ron Paul can have a nice opinion about drugs and its use, but ask him what he thinks about inmigrants, i know its not the subject but my point is that he is not the most adecuate candidate… Anyway this show looks good, hopefully people would understand what cannabis is here for and someone stands up for president by the right reasons and really support freedom in every form.
THIS is the kind of shows that make me want to watch TV again.

I am a disabled veteran. I work, my wife and I own our house, we pay taxes and I am not a criminal. Why am I labeled one because I use medical marijuana? I was able to curtail 4 different pills I was taking 3 times a day with this one plant. When I was on the pills, o was so zonked out that I could not work Ir enjoy my children. I have been off of pills for 5 years and I have never been better. My VA Dr won’t talk about marijuana but behind closed doors he tells me to keep doing what I have been
Marijuana dispensaries may actually violate federal law? Who should care? States trump federal right? Oh… I’m sorry… I forgot about the fascist federal government that we now have.
