Marijuana is far much less unsafe than alcohol or tobacco. Around 50000 individuals die each year from alcohol poisoning. Similarly, a lot more than 400000 deaths each year are attributed to tobacco smoking. By comparison, marijuana is nontoxic and cannot lead to death by overdose. According to the prestigious European medical journal, The Lancet, “The smoking of cannabis, even extended-term, is not harmful to health. … It would be affordable to judge cannabis as much less of a threat … than alcohol or tobacco.”

Remember this point people! If it gets legalized, farmers and corporations will be using pesticides and chemicals to grow it, probably even GMO seeds will be introduced. These chemicals WILL cause cancer. Remember that right now all marijuana is non GMO and organically grown without pesticides. It needs to stay that way if we legalize it. Must stay organic!
Here’s a point all of us pro marijuana smokers need to realize. Once legalized, farmers and corporations will start growing marijuana and pumping it full of pesticides and chemicals that WILL cause cancer. who the fuck told you that the natural chemicals in weed your brain makes naturally and ppl who have problems with their brain get medical marijuana which is the same as any other so don’t sit there and act like you know shit when you don’t because it make you sound stupid you either smoke it and experience it or become a doctor who studies stuff like that then you will the truth that your wrong
just because it doesnt cure cancer means it should be illegal
I think weed should be De-criminalized all together but not fully legalized. I don’t care what you say it is enjoyable which means ultimately it is addictive. BUT to a lesser extent compared to other drugs. It is not a cure to cancer, but is certainly better than chemo or radiotherapy. I think there should be restrictions on it like smoking in public. Also I think that the taxes raised from cannabis should go towards people who have negatively been effected by their use/abuse (A small majority).

so in essence it was originally outlawed… because blacks, mexicans and chinese people used it? so it became illegal through racism… im pretty sure we’ve passed that point in history, why can’t we pass this one aswell already?
Some of the comments on this video are pretty stupid. You can get addicted to marijuana, but its not like the physical addiction of tobacco, its more like an addiction of a video game. Thats where i think all this crap about it being addictive comes from. I know for a fact that marijuana will never hurt me. Im safe with it, i chill with friends around a fire or play videos games and listen to music. Dont be stupid and drive around with it and it will be the safest thing ever. I Love Marijuana!
