thats because you have no right, haha
marijuana is perfectly safe, light up and be free and stop being so judgmental of people who do it? why are you so against it? you don’t even know aside the fact that its illegal and thats what youve been brainwashed to think……

I would really like to be able to help with your essay, however, the best you can do is to repeat the old propoganda that we have been taught for the past 70 years. That marijuana kills brain cells, is extremely addictive, leads to hard drug use, leads to a life of crime and violence, causes cancer, causes insanity and makes “darkies” think they’re as good as the whites. But don’t expect any of those comments to go over too well with whoever reads it.

Science is rapidly replacing the old fears about marijuana with hard researched facts, and the fact is, it doesn’t kill brain cells, it actually acts as a neuroprotectant and has been proven useful in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimers, Parkinsons and HIV Dementia.
It isn’t extremely addictive, in fact studies show that even under acute (large) daily dosages, it showed no signs of toxicity, adverse side effects or inclination towards dependancy (US Department of Health and Human Services).
It doesn’t lead to hard drugs, recent studies have shown that users of marijuana are no more inclined to go on to hard drugs than any other group and that most hard drug addicts don’t smoke marijuana, it has also been tested successfully in the treatment of addiction and is used to help recovering addicts overcome the effects of withdrawal.
It doesn’t lead to a life of crime and violence, in fact, violence is almost never associated with marijuana use as it has a tendancy to make users feel mellow and happy (a sense of well being), hardly cause to make someone go on a crime spree.
As for the claims that it can cause cancer, research shows that the cannabinoids in marijuana have the ability to slow the growth of young cancer cells, stop new cells from forming and kill old cells. Use of marijuana can’t cure cancer, but it can slow it and it also increases appetite and reduces the nausea associated with chem and radiation therapy, greatly increasing their chances of survival. To date, not one death or one case of cancer has ever been attributed to marijuana. No other drug on Earth (prescription or over the counter), can make that claim as it is the only drug on Earth that it is impossible to fatally overdose on no matter how much is taken, it is quite simply the safest drug on Earth and even the DEA can’t find a suitable arguement to dispute that fact.
Your average marijuana users are doctors, lawyers, police officers, judges, business people, carpenters, laborers, nurses, store clerks, pilots, bus drivers, authors, musicians, and that girl you just asked out on a date last weekend.

Over thirty years ago the Feds hired a research scientist to research the properties of marijuana and prepare a detailed report on all of the dangers of this evil plant. The plan was for him to find all of the facts neccessary to prove the governments claims that it was addictive and dangerous. After thirty years of careful and thorough research his final conclusion was: The most harm that you could get from marijuana would be if a bale of it fell on you.
