My period is 2 weeks late and I took PT a week ago and it mentioned i wasnt pregnant so i referred to as my medical professional and she said it might be late because of tension but i havent really been stressed out over something. she stated wait a week and retest if it doesnt display anything and my pd still doesnt come to make a appt. I’ve been browsing the net seeing articles about how marijuana can effect hormone levels and this kind of. Is it feasible that I am pregnant and my hormone ranges are just very low from that…

I doubt it coz you dont get pregnancy hormones until finally you get pregnant – occasionally tests just cant choose them up since they are not strong adequate nevertheless, if you wait a week and you are pregnant, then the hormone levels will rise and you really should get a good outcome on your hpt

No, I don’t think marijuana can effect preg test results.

No it can’t affect the pregnancy test, but it sure can affect a baby. If you may become pregnant, smoking marijuana is a rather irresponsible thing to do.

I smoked some pot, drank a lot of beer, took Advil, am on the Pill, had sex, and had Chinese food for dinner. Can that affect my test results? No. There is no food*, no alcohol, no contraceptive, and no illegal or over-the-counter drug that can mess up your HPT results, and semen cannot affect the test. The only drugs that can affect pregnancy test results (in the form of a false positive) are prescription drugs that contain hCG (such as Profasi, Pregnyl, Ovidrel, etc.) They are prescribed for fertility treatments or other “female problems.” If you are taking one of these drugs, ask your doctor how soon you can use a pregnancy test (different doses require different amounts of time to leave your system, so what works for one woman might not work for you.) *Food itself does not cause false results, but can affect how much urine you have and how dilute it is. Eating salty chips and drinking caffeine all day will result in more concentrated pee, whereas gorging on watermelon and ginger ale will result in lots of very dilute pee. Very diluted urine during very early pregnancy may result in a false negative. For best results, pee in a cup first and make sure your pee is medium to dark yellow.

i dont think it can effect the results, but if you are pregnant i would stop smoking it as it is very harmful to your baby, more harmful then takin ectasty beleave it or not not that i would recomend this.

  7. It not only smoking marijuana but consuming any kind of drug will affect the pregnancy test results. Take note that, if you are pregnant – it also will affect the baby’s health!!!!!
