Psychedelic Crisis – MAPS

This video drama is presented by MAPS – the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (maps.org). We give 4 basic ideas to aid an individual having a tough psychedelic experiences 1. Create a protected area 2. Sit, don’t manual 3. Talk via, do not talk down four. Challenging is not necessarily undesirable MAPS mission is to produce MDMA, LSD, Psilocybin, and Marijuana into legal prescription medicines for therapeutic applications. We are actively developing and funding clinical trials with human subjects in accordance to the tips set by the United States Food and Drug Administration and the European Medicines Company. For the duration of this procedure we are education therapists to administer psychedelic drugs in therapeutic settings. We will open psychedelic treatment clinics about the planet when these substances are accepted as prescription medicines. We are also engaged in efforts to educate folks about the positive aspects and dangers of these substances and other psychedelics. @testiclecrusher2 Well, actually, an anxiety or panic attack from cannabis is not at all like what happens in a psychedelic crisis. Psychedelic crises are bizarre phenomena that are unique to powerful psychedelic drugs. It’s difficult to describe to someone who hasn’t been there, but for me, my difficult trips are basically like my mind (my knowledge of my life) being unraveled to its core, leaving only eternal awareness in its place. Scarier than death. Temporarily ending ego.
I had a bad trip on weed. And to those idiots who are thinking of replying with “weed does not cause bad trips that shit was laced”. Stfu, weed can cause bad trips/anxiety attacks in people you ignorant doofus. It just depends on certain factors.
M.A.P.S. is awesome but im not sure if “counseling” someone with words would be as effective and playing some super chill and euphoric music and maybe bring out a big pad of drawing paper and paint/colored markers or something. They can explore their mind better by delving into art or music that talking im think’n. Having someone try and talk to me like that video would make me want to get away from them asap.

@dagda16 If two hits won’t do that for you, you’re probably familiar with relatively weak doses of LSD. 200 mics of white fluff per stamp could take you there on one. Also, that stuff exists now; it’s not a relic of the 1960s (not the 80s, other person — I don’t know where you heard that the 80s were a good era for LSD.) The stuff floating around my area right now is 150 mics of what felt like silver per hit. Two hits of that could definitely take you where this guy is. It did for me.

It depends on the dosage of each blotter, gel, etc. In the 70′s-80′s there were 500-1000 mic blotters that would easily take you out of this world.
MAPS is my hero, but I can’t help but laugh at this video. It has the tone of something you would watch in health class but… not. XD Great information though. It serves the public better than any other PSA I’ve seen.
