Question by Sin stained skin#13: People are finally waking up to the lies about how harmful marijuana is?
I was wondering what the religious folk think about this so please answer these few questions.
Do you believe weed should stay illegal?
Do you drink alcohol?
Have you ever tried smoking weed?
Do you take into account that the only reason people die over weed is because of the unfair laws restricting it?
Why should someone go to jail just because they choose to smoke a plant when alcohol kills countless people each year?

I’m not religious, but I want to play.
- Marijuana should be legal to all adults.
- No, I do not drink alcohol – but I used to be a moderate drinker.
- No, I have never tried smoking marijuana.
- It’s not the only reason, but it results in far less injuries and death than alcohol, and yes – by far the most damage comes from the fact that marijuana has been driven into the black market.
- No one should go to jail for smoking marijuana. Unless they were operating a vehicle or heavy machinery or something.
yes i think the ban on weed should be removed I do drink alcohol but not that often and i have smoked weed before and weed is mostly only fatal if like any drug is not used correctly
See, that’s the thing, there are some things in cannabis that are harmful and some that aren’t. For instance, it has been shown that certain combinations of THC in marijuana have deleterious effects on synaptic firings (essentially killing brain cells) in people under the age of 30 — studies have shown that recreational use in teenagers seems to have the highest amount of harm — while people older than 50, specifically Alzheimer’s patients, show a reverse pattern, with the drug essentially “preserving” their synapses. To say that it’s “harmless” is misguided, but so is necessarily saying that it’s “harmful.”
