Think of it like this: You can drive with a 0.074 BAC (Blood alcohol content) rating, but 0.08 is a federal DUI. What’s the difference between taking 1 or 2 puffs, or 1 or 2 blunts? Marijuana doesn’t effect your ability to drive at all unless you don’t know what the fuck you’re doing. Concerning the fact we have no way of proving somebody to be driving under the “Influence,” we should just count on personal responsibility. One person that drives stoned and causes a wreck shouldn’t mean that marijuana was the cause, and it definitely shouldn’t mean that everyone else who drives fine, while medicated, should have to pay for someone asshole’s mistake.
