Query by Seidhr of Orlog: Marijuana causes wellness issues, death, cancer, psychosis and accidents?!? Assist!?
1. Marijuana is harmful and people who smoke it will die:
http://www.cdc.gov/HomeandRecreationalSafety/Poisoning/brief_total_page_text.htm
Here is a hyperlink to the Center for Condition Control’s official chart on deaths induced by drug use. Notice how marijuana is not even on the chart.
http://www.druglibrary.org/Schaffer/library/graphs/graph03.htm
Right here is a hyperlink to the Schaffer Library of Drug Policy’s chart for drug associated deaths in the U.S. discover how marijuana is not on the chart. This is a website that opposes all drug use such as marijuana.
2. Marijuana is unhealthy for the physique and causes cancer:
http://www.youtube.com/view?v=qp633lcU9F8&characteristic=connected
This is a link to a video by the endocannabinoid system network on how marijuana effects the more than all health of the body. Notice how it results all healthy function of the human body.
http://www.youtube.com/view?v=0FgBWpE3rak&characteristic=share
This is 1 of 3 videos on the 4th national conference on marijuana theraputics featuring some of the worlds best researchers on marijuana that discusses the final results of their study on the results of marijuana in the brain, entire body, cancer, asthma, heart, etc.
three. Most people that die from marijuana use die due to the fact of accidents from getting “impaired”.
http://www.druglibrary.org/schaffer/misc/driving/driving.htm
This link goes above how marijuana effects driving with in depth details on the official research and sources. Notice how the reports suggest that drivers on even higher levels of marijuana are safer than sober drivers. This group is against all drug use.

This hyperlink provides data on the studies done on how marijuana results driving with quoted official statements and sources. This is a pro marijuana site.
four. Marijuana kills brain cells but not cancer cells:
This is video footage of THC killing brain cancer cells although not killing brain cells.
5. Marijuana tends to make you lazy and stupid:

This is a hyperlink to renowned marijuana customers and their roll in historical past and in existing society.
6. Marijuana causes psychosis:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetrahydrocannabinol
This is a hyperlink that talks about the facts of THC. Note that THC activates the 5-HT2a and deactivates the five-HT1a receptors leading to psychosis.
Oh but marijuana has another active ingrediant…
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabidiol
Note that cannabidiol has the opposite results on these receptors stopping the chance of psychosis.
Studies that associate marijuana to psychosis followed one of two methods:
1:Injecting pure THC into the blood stream to induce psychosis
2:Giving marijuana to individuals for extended intervals of occasions then abruptly discontinuing all use. Everyone that requires an anti-psychotic then all of a sudden stops it’s use will show symptoms of psychosis.
This is not proof that marijuana causes psychosis. We already knew anti-psychotics induced psychosis when sudden and full discontinuation occured, and who shoots up THC? Proof that marijuana causes psychosis would be finding proof that the patient has psychosis even though smoking marijuana often. But they can’t and know that they can not simply because marijuana is an anti-psychotic in it really is normal kind.
Anyone else have links to official reports and specialist testimony on the effects of marijuana from conclusive reports rather than “suggestive” “theoretical” reports?
1. There is a lot more history of studies on marijuana than tabacco and more than eight,000 many years of documented use of marijuana, five,000 years of that alone just in China. There is documented history of the use of tabacco for what? 70, 80 years? Big big difference. Not to mention medical scientific studies have produced massive leaps in advancement since you don’t forget tobacco staying recomended by medical studies.
Cleeps, thanks for the hyperlink. And yes, agreed. According to medical researchers the physique has large quantities of anandimide in the uterus for the duration of advancement of the baby.
Anandimide is a neurotransmitter released by the physique that works specifically the very same way THC does. Scientific studies have shown that this chemical is reduced just before conception but higher following.
Substantial levels of Cannabinoids trigger the sperm to have difficulty to penetrate the egg and prevents the egg from attaching to the uterus. However, higher levels of cannabinoids are necissary for suitable developement of the lungs, brain, nervous program, digestive tract and muscle tissue inside of a fetus. So it is totally ridiculous to say marijuana causes birth defects.
According to the scientists who found both THC and Anandimide they are specifically the exact same.
Cleeps I like that article. Specifically in which it talks about CBD countering the psychoactive results of THC. I do not know in which they got their info about breeders generating marijuana that has much more THC in rising numbers though.
Indica is primarily CBD. Sativa is primarily THC. Most hybrid cross strains made by breeders are a blend of these two and have fairly equal levels of CBD to THC. There are a variety of levels though due to the need of big difference in content material. An individual who has reduced energy and low brain stimulation wants more THC. A person with hyperactivity and psychosis wants far more CBD. There are strains that have 50%THC and 50%CBD, 95%THC and five%CBD, 5%THC with 95%CBD and everything in in between. The majority of these strains are about 40% – 60% the two approaches.

I’m a psychologist, and I smoke. I chose not to smoke when pregnant, but had friends (other psych geeks) research the effects of marijuana on unborn children. Their results? Not at all bad for baby. The anti-drug sites, though, make all sorts of claims without footnoting/citing any studies. (My friends doing the research were not pro mj and were disappointed that they could not find anything to suggest it is bad…they have since conceded that the anti-marijuana campaign is a bunch of outdated propaganda.)
This is an awesome documentary on the negative effects of mj: http://www.cbc.ca/documentaries/natureofthings/2010/downsideofhigh/ It talks about how it is the engineering of marijuana that leads to psychosis, rather than mj itself. If it were legal, the government could regulate the amount of THC, thus decreasing the negative effects.
I really enjoyed your post. Good work.
