Question by : Is it illegal to publish videos or images of marijuana?
can you be arrested for posting movies or pictures the place you are either smoking, or on camera with marijuana plants?

Probably not illegal, but you could entice unwanted consideration and give the pigs a explanation to go oinking close to your home.

no not really because it can be anything you are smoking ..like grass…unless you post an image that 100% looks like weed or you put something like “this is me smoking weed,not fake” but if it just look like papper with smoke it cool

BUT if you were charged with smoking illegally it might be used as eEvidence
it is almost impossible to prove WHAT was actually smoked from a picture

It’s not illegal in and of itself, but it is pretty compelling evidence that you have been smoking or producing marijuana, both of which are illegal.
On more than one occasion, people have posted descriptions and pictures of their use of illegal drugs online (which I suppose is pretty good proof it does lead you to make bad decisions), and the police have used this as evidence to get a search warrant, found illegal drugs, and prosecuted them for it. In one particularly comedic example, someone posted his attempt to grow a marijuana plant on youtube, documenting all the stages of growth, and the police downloaded all the videos for evidence.
So although posting such videos isn’t illegal, it is a pretty good way to get yourself arrested.
