I was all was taught never to super crop the plants till after they are at least 3 month old because it throws off the hormones of the plant and make them stretch and grow weak steams. I have seen this myself. I super crop and lolly pop my plants and get great results but not till after they are at least 3 months old and just going into the flowering stage.

it works wonders!!! you can start when plant is abou 6″ tall top the plant,to allow the bottom to fill out. Then super crop as the plant fills out start with the shoots (the arms)lwhen you plant out side.plant out side on 5/25, no later then 6/1 for best time.

how well does this work on outdoor crops?

Good video, but it’s unfortunate that people don’t bother to do a little research to better understand the technique

Supercropping increases yields by turning side growth into main colas. All those little branches on the side that would have been itty bitty popcorn buds will now grow as if they were the main shoot on the plant. This can even be achieved without snapping the branches (google LST)

Good video, Bret. Stop by the forum on rollitup.org sometime and say hi.

Do I hear “growoff?” in the background? Lets compare trophys books and accomplishments. got that? then lets rock. oh, wait. did I forget to add the largest cannabis grow ever in the USA to my resume? what you got?”

I’m growing a total of 4 plants in a smallish closet, I don’t think they’ll be able to grow more than 40cm (roughly 16 inches) tall before the light heat will become an issue, would you recommend super cropping or LST (or both? I don’t know)?

It’s my first closet grow so I’d love some professional advice.

Also purely for educational purpose what is the benefit to breaking the stem instead of just binding it down with a bit of rope?

Let’s be honest, growing cannabis isn’t all that difficult if you have a half-decent head on your shoulders and are prepared to do some reading. Becoming a highly efficient, good grower is a whole different game entirely….. this guy would rank up there with the best of them. Beautiful garden.
