The smoke is from an incense stick and the light came from a bare YN560-II, camera left in manual mode. Trigger for the strobe was a Tiny Triggeer. Canvas of Life

I am faced with a new and blank canvas in my life. I tentatively reach for a brush to begin painting this new life. I feel you reach and steady my hand since it shakes because I am faced with this unknown future. Your presence calms me and allows me to begin the journey of filling this new canvas with a new life of colors. I am yet to know what the painting will contain, how could anyone know. I just begin to wonder if that picture will include you as the focus. The thought of that stirs my creativity and moves me to paint faster. To see the outcome of my life’s canvas is such a strong desire, but it takes time to create a new picture and let the paint dry. I can only hope that we are given enough time to create art together to withstand the trials in this world. As I grow accustomed to your touch, steadying my hand, I realize something new, that you aren’t only helping me to paint, but we are beginning to create together. The painting we are creating is reflecting our combined dreams, aspirations and desires. This harmonious synergy feels colorful, bright and of a deeper depth than two paintings we would have created separately. The painting begins to show some focus and the painting shows great promise. Will you continue to paint with me? The paintings completion awaits "us".
