Query by Flip Spiceland: Does consuming marijuana effect your cardio?
I’m mindful that SMOKING marijuana, or something, has damaging effects on your cardiovascular abilities. But, does Consuming it mess with your cardio? For instance as an alternative of smoking you eat pot brownies or cookies, and so forth..
You didn’t solution my query.

If you smoke it, shoot it, eat it, roll it up and use it as a suppository it will have the identical effects….
I understand you are hunting for that simple out, but it does not exist.

Smoking anything interferes with proper lung function. Eating pot, however, still creates a “depressant” drug effect, which means slower heart rate, reaction time, etc… so yes, it will “mess” with your cardio in that respect. Additionally, you need to specify WHY you are doing the cardio– if it’s for heart/lung health, weight loss, etc. Obviously eating cookies and brownies negates any calories burned by doing cardio (it is WAY easier to eat an extra 400 calories than to burn 400 calories!).
It will mess with your cardio if you’ve just eaten the damn thing and go flying off the treadmill, lost in a magic land of strawberries and zebras. But no, in the way you mean, it doesn’t enter your lungs so it has no affect on your jogging. Although it does raise your heart rate and cause dry mouth, so I’d avoid it.
Even though eating mirajuana does not have direct effects on your cardiovascular system, the heart must support your entire body. If your body is unhealthy because of these effects, your heart will need to recieve more oxygen to pump enough blood around your body while it is repairing or monitoring itself. Additionally, the body doesn’t digest mirajuana easily, which also increases heart rate. Heavy breathing due to needy heart = worse performance.
Yes, but in two ways.
We’re talking THC here, not the actual inhaling, I get it. THC does increase your heart rate, in many people. Can’t you tell? I smoke every day and I can tell sometimes when I’m just sitting there getting high. I can’t tell if I’m being active and getting high, They say it’s about a 34% higher heart rate when you’re resting, and 18% higher when you’re exercising. However, there is no reason to believe this increased heart-rate has any ill effect on the body any more than just working out. Either way, it increases your heart rate, and that’s part of your cardio situation. It has no effect on blood pressure, pulmonary ventilation, or oxygen uptake.
But, in the long term, THC might work to fight heart disease. One study found that it keeps blood vessels from becoming clogged. It also works to keep the immune system cells healthy by causing less inflammation.
So, if you’re wondering if you should be worried about it, the answer is no.
No it doesn’t. Smoking doesn’t either (first-hand knowledge)
and neither will vaporizing.
Humans have used marijuana for more than 5,000 years, if it caused any serious problems we’d know all about them by now! We know tobacco causes lung cancer and alcohol causes liver disease because we’ve *observed* these things, but the reason we’re scratching our heads over marijuana is because there’s nothing to observe. Marijuana is safe.
We have more receptors in the stomachs than in our lungs, so eating weed produce higher effect. it actually depends on the persons focus and drive. but if we train our body to get use to natural,we have much better cardio without it.
