They’re not illegal to buy by means of the mail if the country that they’re coming from has no law against it. Alot of them come from Canada

Note the disclaimer on the bottom saying that marijuana seeds are illegal to purchase in most countries. It’s kind of like when you buy absinthe on line. In it’s stronger form, it’s illegal in the US. But, you can still buy it on line, as long as customs doesn’t decide to check your particular package.
Well first off there is no internet police so if the server feels the site is fine it can stay up unless law enforcement comes in and makes the server shut the site down b/c of illegal activity or what not… On top of that, the sale of marijuana seeds is legal in places like the Netherlands and just overlooked in a lot of countries like Canada, the DEA is actually trying to extradite 3 people from Canada for selling high grade marijuana seeds and mailing them to customers in the US.
Really they just want Marc Emery, AKA the Prince of Pot, head of the B.C. Marijuana political party, editor and owner of Cannabis Culture magazine and PotTV and former owner of the now defunct Marc Emery Seed Company.
If you look at the URL address, there’s no dot com, it’s .nl which stands for the Netherlands where the website server is located and where marijuana is legal…

Yes it is a joke, but not really. They want you to fall for it.
Sure it’s legal to buy and use in The Netherlands only. But it is illegal for them to ship it out of the country – no matter the legality in the receiver’s country, because it’s illegal to transport via mail/post many plants and seeds, some foods, especially drugs, etc. per the UN. Even if it is legal to use in the buyer’s country.
Customs will be so quick on that shipment, you may have The Men in Black with their canine partners at your door instead of Mary Jane and Spot. No matter the country it is being shipped to.
In the US it is illegal to purchase controlled substances over the Internet, and marijuana is a controlled substance, at least for now.
EDIT: I just read their “disclaimer” more closely. It says they are only selling them as souvenirs. Re: “We only sell marijuana seeds as souvenirs . We therefore can give no guarantees regarding germination.”
Notice the last part? That means, in gobbledygook, that it is illegal to germinate them – you know, like if you accidentally dropped a couple of seeds in some dirt before you placed them on your souvenir shelf? lol
Please don’t be the butt (pun intended) of their joke, I bet it’s no fun sitting in Federal prison, or having a drug smuggling charge on your record.
