Question by : Can minors use health-related marijuana in Oregon for severe stomach problems?
Really I want to know if my son who suffers from severe depression like I do can use health care marijuana in Oregon. And if not could I get it for his stomach problems.

No and no.
Only for excruciating pain that other meds don’t help. Usually individuals who get it are dying.There are tons of effective meds for depression.

Depression is not listed as a qualifying condition for medical marijuana in Oregon. “Stomach issues” isn’t really definitive enough (there can be many types of stomach issues, some may be covered, some not), but yes, minors can get medical marijuana with parental or guardian consent.
look up the state of oregon OMMP website. I don’t know about age restrictions but I do know you need a Dr approval. You can also contact mamas.org It has been looked into for many treatments includeing ADHD in children, and Migraines.
