    Genesis 1:29.

Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

Cannabis sativa has seeds, so it is OK.

    You can’t eat mushrooms.

No but there’s nothing that specifically states it’s bad either so to be consistent with other Christian doctrine we can only accept that it must be OK.

No. But it does say this:

    Romans 14
13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. 14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean.

I’ve known Christians who smoked weed. They don’t see it as a faith issue just as I don’t see it as a faith issue. I don’t smoke weed, I’m not one of those people who likes doing it. Romans 14 interferes with the societal sense of morality, something that the church has long been incapable of abandoning in favor of the scriptures! So, by condemning you, they are condemning themselves.

I am not afraid to say it because what the churches have done is abandoned the spiritual reasoning of Paul and Jesus in favor of their sense of morality, which is not the same as truth or righteousness.

So if it does not take you from God (in that your service to Him suffers), you are perhaps one person who God is not demanding refraining from weed. He has other things to work on you on. So, if you can remain Christian and smoke the herb, I’m no one to stop you, neither would I try, unless I saw your dedication to God suffering. Denial is a strong drug, worse than weed.

  6. Look up scriptures on “sorcery” – in the NT, it is the greek “pharmakos”, etc… and includes the idea of drug use. Scripture is clear no sorcerer will have a place in heaven (Mal 3:5, Rev 22:15, etc…). Don’t you know when you buy illegal drugs, you are supporting all the bloodshed of the drug cartels? I even wonder if it puts some of that blood on your own hands.
