I never like the taxation component of it, in that it would let for extreme taxation. I believe you are right about leaving that door broad open. However, municipalities are already passing marijuana laws at a community level. Seem at LA and San Diego, or Oakland for that matter. Prop 19 in my viewpoint was not making it less difficult for municipalities to do this. They do it anyway, with or without Prop 19. The best factor about Prop 19, is it was not the last chapter in the story. 2012 comes close to, we revise the law by means of another Proposition. The 2nd finest point that it did, was it designed incentive for municipalities to compete for ganja organization. In a correct free marketplace, that would play out to the advantage of all cannabis buyers. Not all municipalities would be dumb sufficient to force pot business out of their communities. And the ones who tried to do that (Like LA and San Diego are doing right now), will be begging for them to come back. Specially knowing that other communities would be obtaining revenue from these enterprise. Free market place absolutely works. The competition would force municipalities to lower their licensing, or taxing codes in pricing, so that they had a balanced cannabis company. @btabtabtabta yes, some of what i mentioned are actions from regional governing bodies and not the fed gov. however, the reclassification of THC the molecule is Federal and it’s quite a big deal.
My point is that MORE government molestation of our individual liberties will be presented in the way of ridiculous bureaucratic processes. Cannabis will never be “legalized”, the gov wants to do what it always does: create more paperwork and expand themselves.

I think it should just be resected like medicine. But on the spirtual note, I think of it like you should be getting it from a shaman. So I’m for the medical idea, but I get my meds from a shaman so spirtaul and medical are one in the same. That’s what I always thought it meant.
I think we need to think about this. Hemp laws are treason against the republic making free enterprise illegal. Hemp laws are the corner stone of control of the economy.
